NEW MEXICO SOFTWARE SIGNS NEW CUSTOMERS AND ACCELERATES SALES
Company begins service for ten new medical firms; Launches new web site
ALBUQUERQUE, NM, October 25-- New Mexico Software, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: NMXC), www.nmxc.net, a leading provider of web-based digital and paper management solutions, announced today the company has signed ten new customers for its services at the beginning of the fourth quarter. Of those new customers, eight have signed on to use XR-EXpress, which allows doctors to examine medical images, including x-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans and EKGs, over the Internet. The company has signed two new hospitals to its telemedicine system, IMedCon. IMedCon is designed to connect remote hospitals and trauma centers to allow for specialists to consult and assist in diagnosing cases.
Bruce Stabile, president, New Mexico Software Medical Division, said, “Our engineering and customer support team has been working overtime to accelerate our marketing efforts and we are extremely pleased to see eight new customers begin to use our XR-EXpress system at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
“We’re also seeing increased interest in our hospital referral system, IMedCon, which has been in development for nearly two years to open lines of communication between several hospitals in New Mexico, including the University of New Mexico Hospital. Two of the new customers signing on will be using IMedCon for neurology and cardiology applications. I am optimistic that as these new clients begin dialogues with other institutions it has the potential to double our business within the next few months through referrals.”
New Mexico Software CEO, Dick Govatski, said, “Our company has now built six fully functional recurring revenue products since we started 12 years ago. The Digital Filing Cabinet version 3.2 (DFC3) has been generating interest as today’s companies shift from paper systems to computerized formats. With the DFC3, paper documents can be transferred into the digital filing cabinet, along with digital signatures, where the interactive storage system makes it possible to locate documents instantly. In addition to its storage capabilities, the DFC3 provides content management tools for web sites and a platform for brand management.
“This week we are starting a new website for our DFC3 product at http://www.dfc3.com. The new site is totally automated, which means a customer can sign up for our secure paperless technology system with a credit card and the account can be activated upon successfully completing the registration process.
“As an incentive to signup for the hosted DFC3, we are offering a very low cost paperless application, Messages, http://www.trackyourmessages.com. The phone message tracking system will cost about $15 per month for most companies. Customers are now charged for their system usage based on application minute pricing. No longer are we charging for bandwidth, storage space or the number of users a customer might have. Our website has complete details on how the system works. DFC3 is the next generation of ‘Software as a Service’ (SaaS) and we’re especially pleased with the new features.”
Govatski continued, “This new business from our medical division is exciting. We are now working hard to increase our revenue for some of our other service areas as we continue to meet our business plan goals for 2007. Our long-term debt is now retired and our cash flow is increasing each month. We are very, very close to achieving our positive cash flow forecast from earlier this year.”
