New Mexico Software Launches National Advertising Campaigng

Initiative Marks First Leg of Year-Long Strategic Brand Awareness

Albuquerque, NM, December 20, 2005 -- New Mexico Software, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: NMXS), www.nmxs.com, a leading provider of web-based digital and paper management solutions, announced today that it has launched a major advertising campaign to create greater awareness of the company and products. New Mexico Software is launching a new major advertising campaign. Over the next year we plan to increase our brand awareness with advertisements appearing in the Wall St. Journal, Business Week, Forbes.com, Law.com, FT.com (Financial Times) and many city business publications.

The campaign includes advertising on the websites of prominent national publications, including the Wall Street Journal; Business Week; Law.com, Inc. Magazine; Smart Money; VNU eMedia Directories; Fast Company; FT.com (Financial Times); ZD Net Business Directory; and more than 40 city business publications. The campaign started in mid-December and will run through 2007. The company also plans to launch an advertising program with Forbes.com during the first quarter of 2006.

New Mexico Software CEO Dick Govatski said, "This campaign will introduce our company and the products that we have developed, including our Digital Filing Cabinet (DFC3) and XR-EXpress. Next year, it will be important to increase our revenue, and we felt we needed to be in publications of this scope to let potential new customers to know about our company and the suite of products we offer."

Troy Lapsys, president of New Mexico Software Server Products, said, "As part of the 2006 marketing plan, we anticipate having a new web presence with the assistance of Clearwired, a major web developer. The new site will launch on January 1. We are revamping how we present our products to the markets we serve."

Govatski added, "In order to better leverage our brand, we are also preparing for the new name change from NMXS.com, Inc. to New Mexico Software, Inc., effective in January. The shareholders' adoption of the new name will require a new ticker symbol. We will announce the new symbol when we received it from Nasdaq."
