The TORC Backup Server is a product that allows users to backup vital computer information. This product protects users from crippling data loss. At first, an image of your computer's entire hard disk is created. After that, backups become incremental- only backing up new or changed information.
TORC has been designed to capture information as easily as possible. A user schedules routine backups, and TORC performs these backups automatically with no input from the user necessary. The backup files are then stored on a server which can restore the files to a damaged computer and have it back up and running in minutes. TORC runs in the background so there's no need to spend any more time worrying about backing up information. It's all handled automatically.
TORC servers feature the FallBack mirror option that can run over http networks. All hardware servers feature AMD dual Opteron processors and the Santa Fe Linux Operating System embedded on the motherboard of the server. TORC Backup Servers are available as stand alone solutions or as a hosted managed services model. As a hosted solution your entire enterprise can be maintained at any one of our three U.S. hosting facilities.
